"Hanging Out in Ditmas Park"
Digital; 2008

This originally was a photo taken of Kurt and myself in front of Vox Pop (a coffee shop/bookstore in Ditmas Park). I created this in Illustrator to give it the appearance of a technique called "rotoscoping" that has been used in animated movies such as "A Scanner Darkly" and "Waking Life" where artists trace over live action film frame by frame to create animated films. As you can imagine it takes quite a while to produce these images.
